In remembrance

“When people die, they cannot be replaced. They leave holes that cannot be filled, for it is the fate — the genetic and neural fate — of every human being to be a unique individual, to find his own path, to live his own life, to die his own death.”― Oliver Sacks

In reflection of 9/11, this is also a salute and thank you to all first responders everywhere for what they do everyday.  And a special shout out to my own family, going five generations strong, and keeping the fire fighting tradition alive (1876-present).  Now please take your own moment to reflect and go hug somebody special!                                   Ground Zero, NYC, New York    10/13/2002
