Simple joy

“It was what I was born for –to look, to listen, to lose myself inside this soft world –to instruct myself over and over in joy, and acclamation.” ―Mary Oliver

I spent a few days trying to capture the beauty of the berries on this tree, and somehow this image became my favorite.  Mary Oliver, in her poem ‘Mindful’, made it possible for me to see why it is so.  It just simply brings me joy.  Maybe it will do the same for you, or better yet you will recognize it in something else that makes you feel this way.                Stoughton, WI   11/26/2015
