Night fall

“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow.” ―  Mary Anne Radmacher

Nightfall
drops so gently
slowly, softly
featherlike
in its earthly
approach.

Between
sunset and last light
deep shades of purple
join the wind
wrestling among
the trees.

Day’s final
orchestration
once again
so begins
the night.
